Bombino
Bombino
The New York Times called Bombino "The Sultan of Shred,” Noisey called him "The World's Best Guitarist,” and when you listen to his music it’s easy to see why. Bombino’s latest album, Deran, on Partisan Records (Sylvan Esso, Heartless Bastards, Deer Tick) has garnered acclaim from publications such as Billboard, praising "A groove you can ride to the end of the earth" and from NPR who proclaim "Fluid and bluesy, his guitar playing is more than just an agile dance between rhythm and melody. It speaks and breathes across centuries.” Bombino has helped spread Tuareg culture around the world, bringing his virtuosic playing and unique sound to prominent festivals such as Austin City Limits, Coachella, Electric Forest, and Outside Lands, and more.
Dead Messengers
Soulful, psychedelic, heavy-as-hell: Dead Messengers’ sound is massive and visceral. The music moves like a film score from dark to light, delicate to destructive, with a dedicated underpinning of vintage analogue sound.

The band’s debut features guests from Artists like Lucius, Bombino, Aubrey Haddard, and Turkuaz. There is a significant amount vibe lathered on every track, with soaring, epic vocals, psycho-garage guitar tones, exploding pedals, sweeping string sections and overdriven horns. The band leader is Boston-based writer and producer Patrick Hanlin of Revivalhouse Records. Debut album out 2019.
