Dropkick Murphys
Dropkick Murphys
After twenty years, Dropkick Murphys remain bigger than ever, having sold over 6 million albums worldwide. The band continues to sell out venues around the world. They've headlined Boston's Fenway Park and have been personally invited to share the stage with everyone from Foo Fighters to Bruce Springsteen to Mumford & Sons. The group's single "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" -- from 2005's Certified Gold The Warrior's Code -- has sold nearly 2 million copies. With lyrics penned by Woody Guthrie, the song gained mainstream notoriety after being prominently featured in Martin Scorsese's Academy Award-winning film "The Departed." It can be commonly heard at sporting events and on television as a theme song for many sports teams (even outside of Boston).
Agnostic Front
Agnostic Front
Agnostic Front is an influential American hardcore band that formed in New York City in 1982. The band began playing hardcore punk similar to bands like Black Flag and Negative Approach, and were thrust to the forefront of the burgeoning New York hardcore scene of the mid-1980s with the release of their widely regarded 1984 classic Victim In Pain. 1986's Cause For Alarm saw them incorporating thrash metal elements into their sound, which continued to evolve with Liberty & Justice For... (1987) and One Voice (1992). After a brief hiatus (1993-1996) Agnostic Front regrouped and signed with Epitaph for three albums, and subsequently to their current label Nuclear Blast in 2004.

Bim Skala Bim
Bim Skala Bim
Formed in Boston, MA as a Ska Rock band that was influenced by the bands in England’s 2 Tone movement, as well as the music of the Clash, UB40 and Bob Marley. Bim’s infectious Boston Blue Beat sound led them to be one of the premier bands kick-starting the Third Wave of Ska in the 1980s. Other bands quickly followed their example resulting in a lively scene in Boston and much of the United States.
