Underoath
Underoath
For the six men in UNDEROATH, whose members have evolved and thrived during a decade-long progression that has elevated them into one of heavy music’s biggest successes, change has been ubiquitous. The Tampa-based sextet, who underwent and overcame what many consider their most significant line-up alteration yet, afterward experienced an artistic rebirth in the form of Ø (DISAMBIGUATION), its triumphant fifth album for Solid State/Tooth & Nail.
Times Of Grace
Times Of Grace
The side project of hyperkinetic Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, Times of Grace formed in 2008 while Dutkiewicz was convalescing after getting emergency back surgery while on tour. He began recording songs during his downtime, playing all of the instruments himself and recruiting former Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach to handle vocal duties. The project’s sound blends shoegaze atmospherics with metalcore, creating a sound that favors expansiveness over aggression. Dutkiewicz completed recording on the album in 2009, but delays prevented the album from being released. Times of Grace’s debut, Hymn of a Broken Man, was eventually released in early 2011 on Roadrunner Records.
Stray From The Path
Stray From The Path
It is no coincidence that listeners of Stray From The Path will often have a difficult time confining them to a specific genre. The Long Island outfit, has made it a point to remain unpredictable, intricate, and intelligent. Listeners can expect their Sumerian Records debut 'Villains' to surpass the gratuitous and/or contrived music that is all too common today, and instead perform articulate songs that refuse to compromise their precision, honesty, and genuine desire to impress. Expect "Villains" to arrive in stores everywhere May 13th!
