Sparks The Rescue
Sparks The Rescue
Channeling modern rock influences into anthemic choruses and themes of lust, loss and embracing your inner demons, Sparks The Rescue return with 12 impressive edgy pop-rock tracks on new album Worst Thing I've Been Cursed With. The band's second full-length is a step forward for the band, blending sassy lyrics and the dynamic, unique vocals of frontman Alex Roy into the melodic, infectious songs the five-piece have become known for.

Emerging from Portland, Maine with debut album Eyes To The Sun in 2009, Sparks The Rescue's playful pop rock made them a fan favorite as they toured with the likes of Mayday Parade and The All-American Rejects, scoring music cues on MTV's Real World: Cancun and winning MTV / Garnier's "I Want My Music On MTV" battle of the bands contest. Hitting the road hard in 2011 in support of Worst Thing I've Been Cursed With, the band are now ready to take on the world. Fans of intelligent pop rock and superb musicianship in the vein of Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Jimmy Eat World and Saves The Day, get ready to fall in love with Sparks The Rescue!
Too Late The Hero
Too Late The Hero
Hailing from the depths of Southern Maine, Too Late The Hero started out as a simple side project for five friends in the summer of 2003. Realizing the potential they had, the five lads quit their positions in other bands in order to focus on this new project. In the spring of 2005, the band parted ways with guitarist Mike St. Hilaire and brought on ex-In The Arms Of Providence guitarist Nate Johnson.

Since their first show in February 2004, the band has just been picking up speed, playing numerous shows and tours across the New England and greater-Northeast region, and sharing the stage with many great artists. Drawing comparisons to bands such as Beloved, Brand New, and Thrice, the band combines pop-sensible choruses and infectious melodies with heartfelt breakdowns and group sing-a-longs. With a relentlessly energetic live show, chock full of flailing guitars, crowd sing-a-longs and the occasional injuries to band members, fans can be guaranteed that they will not be disappointed. With their independent release of a new 6-song EP entitled "The Arming" out now (available at Bullmoose Music and Newbury Comics locations, and online at Interpunk.com) and big plans for the rest of 2005 into the new year, the band has no intentions of stopping for anything. For fans of Beloved, Brand New, Thrice and Glassjaw.
